About us
Where we work in Kenya, 8 out of every 10 people lack access to clean water, safe toilets and good hygiene.
Most residents live in rural communities and spend hours every day walking to collect dirty water or find a safe place to relieve themselves. Dirty water and poor hygiene spread disease, meaning even more time is lost to sickness - time that could have been spent on work or education.
For a child, this can mean the difference between dropping out of primary school and completing a full education. For a parent, the difference between struggling to get by and earning enough to improve the prospects of their family.
We believe every resident in Kenya has a fundamental right to access clean water, safe toilets and good hygiene.
Thanks to our amazing supporters, we are accelerating access to water, sanitation and good hygiene for over 1 million people, helping marginalised children and families lift themselves out of poverty.
