About

We are taking on the challenge of climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak and the world's highest freestanding mountain. We are doing so to support Dig Deep who believe every resident in Kenya has a fundamental right to access clean water, safe toilets and good hygiene.

DigDeep Charity

Dig Deep work in Bomet County, Kenya, home to 1 million people and one of the most underserved and least resourced areas of the country. Here, 2 out of 3 people don't have clean water, over half don't have safe toilets and children don't have access to basic hygiene education.

Through helping children and their families to realise their right to clean water, safe toilets and good hygiene, your support will save lives, improve education, empower women and girls and strengthen livelihoods.

Team St Andrews 2025

Despite St Andrews being a small university community, that doesn't stop us from raising thousands for chairtity every year, this challenge will not only add to this amount whilst also providing an amazing opportunity for students to be global ambassadors.

Each team member's overall fundraising target is £2990
50% of which goes directly to accelerating access to water, sanitation and good hygiene in Bomet County, Kenya
50% of which goes towards our expedition costs (not including flights, which we will be paying ourselves)

Any support to help our team reach our goals would be amazing. Please follow our social media as well as check back on this page for more updates!
