My Story

From a young age I was emerged in outdoor activity with my dad, hiking in Snowdonia being a favourite, leading me to my first charity event.
From the age of 15 I would run in ~10 mile relay races for a local children's charity.

So when I got to uni, naturally I wanted to step up my game and Dig Deep gave me exactly what I wanted, they facilitated me climbing Kilimanjaro and Mount Kenya in 2018 and 2019 respectively all while helping an incredible child orientated charity.

Dig Deep, of which provide to schools in Bomett county, Kenya;
Taps - Installing rainwater collection units to provide access to clean water
Toilets - The highest grade sanitation toilets without running water
Training - Anything from what a bar of soap is to menstrual health education
I have recruited and ran 3 fundraising teams for Dig Deep which have cumulatively raised over £55 000. I am aiming to raise another £2 500 in this event.

I have been working as David Lloyds Personal Trainer since moving to Northern Ireland in Jan 2022 and wanted to create a challenge for both myself and the members.

Naturally the charity I want to support with these challenges is Dig Deep as I owe so much to them for creating the person I am today. I can almost guarantee that I wouldn't have been able to support myself as a trainer and therefore never meeting you all without Dig Deep.
