My Story

I am returning to Africa, after 3 years since my last visit, to climb Kilimanjaro for the charity 'Dig Deep'. I can't wait to take on the challenge of climbing the world's tallest free standing mountain - especially for an important cause. Dig Deep helps schools and communities in Kenya to access clean water by building taps and toilets, and help maintain health by providing sanitation training. Project work is currently focused in Narok and Bomet counties where 8/10 people do not have access to clean water, and Dig Deep are committed to not only providing clean water sources, but ensuring they are maintained. Young girls are also given information about how they can keep safe and healthy when menstruating and because of this are able to continue their education.

50% of the money donated to me will go straight to projects in the areas of Kenya it is needed and 50% will be put towards the costs associated with the challenge. The climb is carried out under ethical conditions.

Thank you for your support. Follow my fundraising story to see the progress I am making and for more information about how your donation will make a difference.
