My Story

Hello and thank you for clicking on my fundraising page!

In August 2020 I will be climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, along with a wonderful team of students, to raise money for Dig Deep's "Taps and Toilets" project, which works to provide Kenyan communities access to the basic (and essential) hygiene facilities that they need. These facilities help to reduce the spread of waterborne illnesses (which are often fatal), allow girls to continue to attend school whilst on their periods, and provide clean water in areas where as many as 8 out of 10 people do not have such access. Furthermore, training programmes are provided to the communities that benefit from the project to give them the necessary knowledge to maintain their new facilities themselves.
