My Story

Being able to impact lives so drastically with something as simple as clean water amazes me.

Clean water means children can have a decent education instead of being absent from school due to water-borne illnesses. Clean water means empowerment for girls no longer constrained by water collection and given the privacy and safety they need at school. Clean water means more than just a tap.

Over the next year, my team and I will need your help and support to raise awareness and donations to support the fantastic work of Dig Deep. One of the most amazing things about this charity is that they're the only UK charity who are recognized by the Kilimanjaro Porters Association and therefore ensure that the local people we'll be working with on the trek are treated as they should be and working against the negative effects of voluntourism.
