My Story

Hello everyone, thankyou for visiting my page! I am so excited to be a team leader with Dig Deep this year, leading a team of students on a year-long programme of fundraising and charity promotion leading up to a climb of Mount Kilimanjaro in August 2022!

I would be so grateful for any support you can offer, as the more money we raise the more it will directly benefit the communities I am supporting! As a bonus, any donation of £50 will allow you to Link Your Loo with one of our project toilets in Kenya

The money raised will be supporting Dig Deep’s Taps & Toilets project. This initiative works to provide communities in Kenya with essential hygienic facilities and safe water, as well as providing training programmes for the communities to educate them on basic hygiene and giving them the knowledge required to maintain the facilities themselves, making it highly sustainable. The communities we're supporting are in areas where 8 out of 10 people do not have access to clean water. The benefits of the project are endless; as well as protecting people from fatal waterborne diseases, this also has a dramatic effect on children’s ability to attend school and get an education, particularly girls who are provided with the facilities to be able to safely attend school during their period – an enormous obstacle facing young women in Kenya.
