My Story

In summer 2026, I am taking on the challenge of climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa, to support the charity Dig Deep. They are an incredible organisation that are working hard to give everyone in Kenya clean water, safe toilets and good hygiene. By supporting this challenge, you are actively helping these people access a fundamental human right.

Dig Deep work in Bomet County, Kenya - one of the least resourced and underserved areas in the country. Over 1 million people live here and yet 2 out of 3 people don't have access to clean water, and over half of the population don't have access to safe toilets nor basic hygiene education. Dig Deep are working tirelessly to change this and with your support in this challenge, we can help accelerate their life-changing work.

My overall fundraising target is £2990: 50% of this will go directly to Dig Deep's life-saving and essential work in providing clean water, safe toilets and improved hygiene practices to the citizens of Bomet County, Kenya. The other 50% of this will go to expedition costs (not including flights or anything outwith the expedition itself).

Every single donation matters - no matter how big or small - and will help to transform the lives of the people of Bomet County, giving them something that many of us take for granted on a day-to-day basis.

I am extremely grateful for all of the support you can give me in this challenge which will help such a vital cause. For more information about Dig Deep, please visit https://www.digdeep.org.uk/.

Thank you again for your generosity!
