Aisha Ratnasabapathy
My Story
My name is Aisha and I am a first year Psychology student at Loughborough University. I am taking on the incredible challenge of climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, the tallest free standing mountain, in the summer of 2025 to support Dig Deep. I am taking on this adventure to challenge and push myself out of my comfort zone. With a passion for geography, hiking Kilimanjaro and experiencing the landscapes and biomes fascinates me and I can’t wait.
Dig Deep is an incredible charity who believe that every resident in Kenya has the fundamental right to access clean water, safe toilets and good hygiene. Dig Deep work in Bomet County in Kenya which is home to 1 million people and one of the most undeserved and least resourced areas of the country. Here, 2 out of 3 people don't have clean water, over half don't have safe toilets and children don't have access to basic hygiene education.

I am excited to take on this challenge and even better doing it for an organisation like Dig Deep. My target is £2990 where 50% goes to the charity and 50% goes to the in country costs for me to climb the mountain, excluding flights.
Your support will save lives, improve education, empower women and girls and strengthen livelihoods.
Any support to help me reach my target would be greatly appreciated!
